Crnovac is the capital city of Arjastan, and hosted the first, second, fourth and fifteenth Nation Song Contests, as well as every single edition of the Arjan national final to date.

The population of Crnovac is 14,286,213 according to the latest census, taken in December 2008. Of this, roughly 87.4% (12,489,143) has the Arjan nationality. The largest non-Arjan minorities are Blondanians (11.5%) and Jastistians (0.5%).
