Nation Song Contest 82 was the 82nd edition of the Nation Song Contest and was hosted for the second time by Cydoni-Gibberia, as a result of their second win in the previous edition. This edition was the smallest since NSC 72, with 3 nations forced to withdraw after failing to vote in the previous final, and a further 3 opting out of the contest voluntarily. However, of the three disqualified from the edition, Tohru voted as part of the rest jury in the final.
Zechonia convincingly won for the second time this edition, much like their first, with recent winner 10 Regions of Mobius finishing in second place.
