Nation Song Contest 86 is the 86th edition of the Nation Song Contest hosted by Doire for the second time. Jéru debuted this edition. Llama Republic won this edition which is their first NSC winning. Paperland would have ended on a prequalifying spot, however their failure to vote brought them a 27th place.

Controvesry
In the Waiting List Jury, there was an error. The votes from SR Indiria were not counted into the Waiting List Results, and had they been counted Fervorosia would receive the 6th place instead of Serenate & Clair. Even though no changes to the results were made, both Fervorosia and Serenate & Clair received a prequalifying spot for the following edition. So the next edition will have 29 finalists.
